Leadership

Adam Brown (Pastor)
Adam Brown currently resides in Beaverton and has a passion for Christ and the preaching of sound teaching in accordance with the Scriptures and the historic Church. He interned under Geoffrey Nault (FMCC), and Derek Snider (FMCC) for approximately two years. Adam graduated from Tyndale University with a double major in theology and psychology. In his early twenties, while still in undergraduate studies, by conviction of the Holy Spirit, the wrestling with God's word, and reading certain church fathers, Adam converted to the classical Protestant faith. Following this, Adam interned under pastor Justin Laughridge (LCMS) for approximately one year. During the Covid years of 2020-2022 Adam was a strong advocate against the lockdowns of local churches and emphasized, “the necessity of the Church to gather, as we no longer belong to ourselves but belong to Christ, body and soul. And those false ministers who closed their churches in such perilous times have condemned themselves with the judgment, not of men, but of our very sovereign Lord. Along with any man that followed them in their ways and remain under judgment, unless they formally repent of their sins according to the scriptures and the sound teaching of the church historically (Hebrews 10:25-27, John Chrysostom Homily 1 and 2 of John's Gospel).’’ In March 2023, Adam was appointed as pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Sunderland. He remained in this position until April 2026, when he was removed from office due to his desire to offer the Lord’s Supper weekly and to allow both credo-baptists and paedo-baptists to be involved in membership and leadership. In May 2026, Adam and other former members planted Christ Community Church in Sunderland Ontario where he continues to preach boldly the truth concerning Christ.
